To ensure a consistent level of product quality across all operations, the PTFEON SYSTEMS PVT LTD quality program is structured in accordance with industry standards. Our core expertise, and much of the work we do, involves processing of corrosion resistant and high purity fluoropolymers such as PTFE, PFA, FEP etc. as per customer’s requirement.

 

P.T.F.E: Polytetrafluoroethylene (-20°F to 450°F), FEP : Perfluoro (Ethylene Propylene) (-20°F to 401°F) copolymer, PFA : Perfluoro Alkoxy(-20°F to 450°F

Tests & Inspections : All the equipments are manufactured & tested at our works as per standard procedure. Our standard Quality Assurance Procedure is as below.

PIPES : For pipes spools, elbows, reducers, tees etc. Purchased from reputed suppliers. Dimensional check, Verification of Test Certificates from suppliers or manufacturers , Random testing of samples at reputed laboratories or at manufacturers shop.

FLANGES : Purchase of flanges from reputed suppliers. Dimensional Check Random testing of material at reputed laboratories or at manufacturers shop

FITTINGS : (In case of forged) Identification (Stamp transfer when applicable) Dimensional check Heat Treatment (Stress relieving) Random testing for hardness at reputed laboratories or at manufacturers shop

WELDING / FABRICATION : Welder Qualification Dimensional Check Visual Inspection

LINER : Visual Inspection Tensile Strength at reputed laboratories or at manufacturers shop Elongation at reputed laboratories or at manufacturers shop Specific Gravity

LINED PIPES AND FITTINGS : Visual Dimensional Check Spark Test at 10KV Hydraulic Test.

MATERIAL STANDARD

Carbon steel pipe: CS pipes material are seamless or welded confirming to ASTM A106 Gr.B / ASTM A53 in standard wall thickness Pipe: 1″ through 4″ size, Schedule 40 Carbon Steel per ASTM A587 ERW 6″ through 8″ size, Schedule 40 Carbon Steel per ASTM A53, Grade B Type E Standard vent holes of size ¼” or 1/8” dia will be provided in all PTFE lined pipe spools.

Flanges: Flanges will be made from material ASTM A105 N (Forged)or IS2062 plate materials.

Fittings: Fabricated Carbon Steel: components per ASTM A53 & A234 as specified on individual drawings. Dimensions per ANSI 16.5 Class 150. Flanges rotating lap joint or fixed as specified above. Ductile Iron Casting (60-40-18) per ASTM A395 Cast Steel per ASTM A216 Gr. WCB. Standard fittings dimensions per ANSI B16.5 Class 150.

Lining: PTFE white (virgin paste extruded PTFE) & FEP lining quality will be generally confirm to ASTM F 1545

Dimension Tolerance: Length and Centerline Dimensions ± 3.2 mm, Fixed Flange Bolt Hole Alignment ± 1.6 mm, Flange Perpendicularity 7.8 mm/m of nom. Pipe (with Pipe Centerline) diameter
